Paint in Black: the power of black sculpted by Light

The Schoelcher Collection pays homage to painters who turned black into a living, deep, and vibrant material. At Lumey Paris, fabrics are approached with the same artistic eye: as surfaces to shape, sculpt  and illuminate.

Conceived as an exploration of black in all its shades, Schœlcher plays with textures to create architectural, sensual and graphic silhouettes. Matte black, glossy black, transparent tulle, woven stripes, each material is selected for its ability to capture or diffuse light, revealing or subtly suggesting the silhouette.

Structural draping, layering, and sharp cutouts create a delicate play of chiaroscuro, where opacity dialogues with transparency. All pieces, crafted in France, intentionally blur the line between lingerie and ready-to-wear, the intimate and the visible.

Schoelcher embodies a precise and contemporary vision of sensuality, defined by strong lines and meticulous construction. This collection is designed for free, elegant and audacious women, who see each garment as an expression of their style, presence, and inner light.
